Oil-Free Mayo Substitute
Don’t get me wrong mayo is one of my favorite go to’s for sandwiches and burgers but it inst really something you should be realistically eating everyday. So I wanted to make an alternative for those days when you just want something a little lighter to add to your meal.
1 Cup Raw or Soaked Cashews
1/2 Cup Water
1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
2 Tsp Lemon Juice
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tsp Onion Powder
Salt to Taste
Start by soaking your cashews for at least 4 hours if you’d like. I’ve found that using a high power blender does require soaking them before blending.
Now add all the ingredients to a blender and blend on high until its completely smooth and not grainy at all.
Spread on your favorite sandwich or add to your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
