Crunchy Peanut Butter Granola

Sometimes it's hard to find healthy store bought granola that is refined suguar free and free of excessive oil. On the other hand making granola at home can be frustraiting becasue its hard to give it that prfect crunch. Well not anymore because this granola will fix all your problems. Okay maybe not all of them but its still pretty damn good!



  • 2 Cups of Rolled Oats

  • 1/3 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce

  • 1/3 Cup Agave or Pure Maple Syrup

  • 1/2 Cup of All Natural Peanut Butter

  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1/2 Cup Raw Almonds


  1. Start by preheating your oven to 275°F and line a baking sheet with either a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.

  2. Add the rolled oats and almounds to the tray and toast them for 5 minutes and then give them a good stir and toast them for about 5 more minutes or until they are a good golden brown.

  3. In a large mixing bowl add the rest of your ingredients and whisk them until completely combined. Then take your oats and almonds out of the oven and mix them in the bowl until they are completely covered.

  4. Pour the mixture onto the baking tray and leave a few clumps so there are some good clusters in your granola.

  5. Baking it for about 30 minutes stirring it halfway through. Once they are done take them out fo the oven and let them cool completely on the tray. This is what will give them that perfect crunch!

  6. Lastly enjoy buy eating it in a bowl with some plant milk, or on top of some vegan yogurt, or on top of a smoothie bowl.
