Typical Vegan Grocery List

When it comes to grocery shopping as a vegan there tends to be a stigma that it’s very expensive. This isn’t always the case though!

When you eat a plant based diet and focus mostly on whole foods with some vegan junk food as a treat every now and then it’s stays pretty cheap! It gets expensive when you start buying lots of vegan cheese and mock meats and vegan ice cream.

So I’m going to tell you guys some of my favorite things to buy when grocery shopping as a vegan on a budget. These food are some of the staples that I love to keep stocked in my kitchen always. You may not like some things I have listed so always customize it to your preferences! I just want to give a good outline of a typical vegan grocery list.

Tips N Tricks

If you have a store nears you with a bulk food section I highly recommend utilizing it! Not only has it reduced my waste but it has saved me loads of money over the years.

Also when I go to the store sometimes I buy based off the price of things at the moment. If something I usually get is 2 dollars more expensive than it usually is I’ll go for something else in it’s place.
